Full Day High & Wild Adventures Empress Canyon Tour

Experience one of Blue Mountains’ best adventure tour combinations of abseiling at Narrowneck followed by thrilling canyon adventures with a full-day Empress Canyon tour. With an expert instructor making sure you do it right at all times, your safety is well taken care of during your entire canyoning adventure at the Blue Mountains.

Start from the operator’s office located inside the Blue Mountains YHA and get on the transfer to reach Narrowneck near Katoomba. Start with a beginner-friendly 5m cliff nearby, with expert instructions from your instructor.

Narrowneck features steep climbs in both directions and offers brilliant views that are well worth the effort as you climb down the almost-vertical cliff face. Your instructor guides you at every step as you abseil from 30m high. 

Relax with a refreshing lunch post abseiling. Wade into an Empress canyon creek that descends into a narrow canyon for the first of many jumps, water-slides and swims to come. Finish off with a final abseiling experience down a 30m waterfall into a deep rock pool below.

With all gear included in your tour, all you need to do is to dress appropriately, wear running shoes and carry ample drinking water. A waterproof camera is  available for your group, on request.
