Board your purpose built 4WD vehicle and reach your first stop of the day, Daintree - Cape Tribulation. Travel on a custom-build 4WD vehicle via the Great Barrier Reef Drive along a spectacular coastline hugging two World Heritage areas, Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics.

Cross the mighty Daintree River on a cable ferry and enjoy roving views of amazing diversity of plant and animal life at the Daintree Rainforest on this tour. You can also enjoy morning tea with tasty homemade scones with jam and cream at the historic Heritage Hotel.
After exploring the Daintree Rainforests, travel along a 4WD only route, the Bloomfield Track. Your will be entertained with incredible Aboriginal stories and history by your expert guide. Witness some of the most impressive sceneries in the country as you drive through rivers, creeks and mountain ranges.

Next is the Bana Yirriji Art and Cultural Centre, situated along the banks of Bloomfield river. Meet the Wujal Wujal community, learn about their culture and visit various art galleries and workshops exhibiting Aboriginal culture. 

Next is a lunch stop at Bloom’s Cafe, one of the oldest running bush pubs in Queensland. You will then cross rivers and climb mountain ranges to reach the famous Lion’s Den Hotel.Built in 1875 of timber and iron, The infamous Lion’s Den Hotel includes a museum, where they have on display a collection of unique prospector artefacts.

Next is a unique geological oddity, Black Mountain. Clouded in mystery, spirituality and entrenched in Aboriginal folklore, this mountain is a sight not to be missed. 

After Black Mountain, walk to the top of Grassy Hill from where you can enjoy panoramic views of Endeavour River, surrounded by Coral Sea and Cooktown. This lookout is also known to be the place where Captain Cook endeavoured to fix his broken ship.

Your tour ends with some free time to explore Cooktown. Stroll along the streets and visit the attractions of this iconic town. You will be transferred to Cooktown Airport for the return 45-minute scenic flight with Hinterland Aviation along the Daintree Coast and the Great Barrier Reef. Your tour ends as you arrive at the Cairns Airport around 6.50pm.
