Get in the water and swim lazily with one of the fastest fish in the sea, the magnificent Southern Bluefin Tuna!
Your Oceanic Victor in-sea aquarium is located in the pristine waters of Victor Harbour. Board a luxurious catamaran for a quick trip to the aquarium sheltered in the lee of Granite Island. This ingenious marine setting is a system of concentric rings with a viewing pontoon, swim platforms and hospitality area at the centre.
Don wetsuits and get ready to snorkel & swim with hundreds of sea creatures around you! Swim in the circumferences of two rings that play as separate homes to tuna and other small fishes. The local varieties include snapper, mulloway, whiting, small pelagic fish, shellfish, crayfish and many more.
If swimming is not your cup of tea, take part in fish feeding. You are definite to be enthralled when you see how a 70kg fish comes out of nowhere at the speed of lightning, takes food from your hand and is gone as fast as it came!
Oceanic Victor also has an onshore education centre where you can discover interesting facts on types of fish and their diverse ecosystem of Fleurieu Peninsula. The base also includes a children’s marine touch tank and an underwater observatory. If you are hungry, you can also purchase sausage sizzle and hot & cold drinks on the platform.
A unique marine world among the fascinating ecosystem of Victor Harbour; its not just swim & snorkel, there’s so much to explore with Oceanic Victor!
